"SLO Provisions is right next door to Ruby Rose, so you can grab lunch there."
"This was a dream of ours for a really long time. About six years ago we did a road trip around the country, looking at places like this to get ideas for how it would look, what the menu would be like.
Our concept was always to stay local. My partner and I are from the South, so we wanted to put a little Southern twist on everything, like the buttermilk biscuits in the morning, and fried chicken on Friday nights.
It's such a friendly town, a very supportive town. What makes me the happiest is that we have so many people that have come in here from day one, that continue to come in here two or three times a week and love what we're doing and pass the word along. Just building those relationships with the community has been so rewarding."
