"My grandfather started this butcher shop 40 years ago. My dad's been cleaning up here since he was 11 and he started butchering at 14. So you can say we're lifetime. Work is family.
We're run like an old-school family business. You'll find my sons here and you'll find my sisters here. I literally live on the other side of this wall, so it's kind of like that old school Italian grocery vibe, where the family lived upstairs and the business was downstairs."

"I'd visit our Funk Zone neighbor Seven Bar and Kitchen. I'm a meat and potatoes girl and their fries and sliders are really good. Otherwise, I love to go to Boathouse for a drink on the beach. That's a place where anyone who comes to Santa Barbara needs to go."
