Recommendation

RecommendationSan Francisco's chefs recommend La Taqueria for lunch as part of Dirt Road Travels' San Francisco, California city guide. They love the tacos and traditional rice free burritos at 2889 Mission St in the Mission.

Kevin's Take

"There is no shortage of places in this town that are kick ass. Places that become like legends, that locals don't talk about because we don't want them blowing up. La Taqueria on Mission is like that, and it's incredible. I've been in line there before and have seen guys freaking out like, 'Put your damn phones away! Those phones are the reason this place has like 75 people in line to get a taco!' It's pretty cool."
