"I do ask myself if I still want to do this, to keep brewing beer. The answer is that I get so much joy out of the act of making something, of making beer, and the satisfaction of drinking that beer with someone who enjoys it. You get that reward, the personal sense of accomplishment when you sweat and you go through each step properly to create a beer.

Honestly, I'm just a little fucking blip in brewing history, so it's easy not to get an ego about things.
We're still fairly meaningless as a brewery and that gives me the drive every day to get better. So when I stop getting better as a brewer, that's when I'll stop brewing. If I'm not progressing, I'll leave.
