"As humans, we come back to the question, 'what legacy are we leaving behind?' Artifact Uprising stands for the idea that human connections and those meaningful sections of your life are extremely important, and they deserve to be documented. Today, documenting my travel is my intent. I believe travel isn't about the fancy hotels and infinity pools. It's about the conversations you have with that guy at the bus stop, or the taxi driver who's been living in that city for twenty years. Travel teaches you to be a student of the people around you. So learn as best you can, and take advice from everywhere. Personally, my learning to tell those stories through photographs has been such a powerful experience. I love that as a company, we exist to honor and document those same moments in everyone's life, and to empower people to tell their story. The story of who you are and the legacy you want to leave."
My Favorite Artifact Uprising Product
"Our Float Frame is a personal passion product of mine. It's design-forward, beautiful and something that no one else is really doing."
What I Love Most About Denver
"It's the perfect mix of positivity and a work hard, play hard mentality. The people here are so happy, active, hard working and fun. You have all the urban excitement of a big city, like plays, nice restaurants, with outdoor recreation like sitting in a hut, backpacking and skiing - and it's all within half an hour from town!"
My Denver Must
"Red Rocks is absolutely my favorite, either for a hike or a show. Drinks at Linger are great to take in the skyline of the city, and so is the shopping on Tennyson Street. If it's just one thing, grab a beer in RiNo, like at 10 Barrel Brewing."
